This month we tested lash enhancing products designed to promote natural lash growth for longer, thicker lashes. Here's what our tester panel thought:

1. LA Science, Volumising Lash Treatment:

A serum designed to add thickness and strength to your natural lashes. Biotin and glycerin condition lashes while hyaluronic acid moisturises to reduce brittleness and thicken the hair shaft for increased volume.

Comment: Although there wasn’t a big difference in my eyelashes I did notice they grew slightly longer and the product seemed to stop my lashes falling out as regularly as they would normally. Helen, 25, London

2. RapidLash, Eyelash Enhancing Serum:

Eyelash enhancing serum that helps promote healthier looking, natural lashes - improving the overall appearance and condition of lashes.. Improves the appearance of lashes and can increase the measured visible length of lashes by up to 50%.

Comment: My lashes feel slightly fuller but not longer. The product was easy to use but I didn't notice a great difference. Maybe one needs to use it for longer before seeing more results. Kelly, 32, London

3. Beauty Society , Enormous Lash Eyelash Enhancing Serum:

Enormous Lash is infused with arginine (an amino acid) and sphingolipid (a plant derived lipid), which help strengthen and thicken your own natural eyelashes. The serum also helps increase hair production.

Comment : I did notice some difference in my lashes but the liquid eyeliner style applicator was difficult to use. The product would have been easier to apply if it came in an applicator similar to that of mascara, and even better if it was mixed with mascara.

Comment : The product did make my lashes feel softer and much more conditioned but I didn’t see a dramatic change to fullness or length.
