Weather boffins are predicting a summer of sizzling proportions, with average temperatures in June, July and August on course to beat those of 1976 - the hottest summer yet!  Two weeks of exposure to the tress-thrashing trinity of sun, sand and seawater can create more hair havoc than during the other 50 weeks of the year.
